Sins & Roses Episode 3 (Recap For Ada Masali)

Sins and Roses

Episode 3

Zeynep discovers bruises on Kader's body and realizes that the little girl has been beaten. Shocked and furious, she immediately tells Serhat that Kader has been abused.

Although disturbed by what he hears, Serhat insists that Kader cannot stay at the mansion.

Zeynep refuses to accept his response. She reminds him that this is Kader's mother's home too and that the child deserves to be safe.

Turning to Kader, Zeynep gently reassures her that she is safe now and that no one will hurt her there. Before leaving, she tells Kader that she will come to see her more often and should keep the piece of paper she gave her so they can talk.

As Zeynep leaves, Serhat tells her that she cannot do this. Without turning around, Zeynep replies she already has.

Later, a furious Zeynep arrives at Tülay's house with her sister, Ezra. She knocks at her door as she wants to show her exactly what it means to abuse a child.

Serhat tells Zeynep that if Kader is going to stay at his house, then she will have to stay there as well. He tells Zeynep that Kader will not tell his daughters—or anyone else—anything about what has happened and will keep her distance from them.

Zeynep immediately refuses, insisting that she has no intention of moving into his house.

Serhat then gives her an ultimatum that until he finds Kader's biological father, she has only two choices: either she stays at the mansion with Kader or he will hand her over to social services.

Zeynep tells Serhat that if his conscience allows him to send an innocent child to social services, then he should go ahead.

Later, Ezra tries to reason with her sister. She points out that Serhat is a wealthy and influential man and believes he will carry out his threat if Zeynep refuses. Ezra suggests that Zeynep temporarily work at the mansion, convinced that Serhat will find Kader's father sooner rather than later.

Zeynep still refuses. Just then, she notices Kader asleep in the back seat of Serhat's car.

Ezra tells her sister that it's up to you to save Kader. Moved by Kader's situation, Zeynep walks back to Serhat and asks what her role would be at the mansion because she has no intention of working as a maid. Serhat explains that he wants her to look after his daughters.

After thinking for a moment, Zeynep agrees—but on one condition. She wants her salary paid upfront. Serhat asks how much she wants. Without hesitation, Zeynep replies, "800,000 lira."

Serhat accepts her demand without bargaining. He tells her that his driver will come to pick her up and reminds her that, from now on, she is to address him as Mr. Serhat.

Zeynep silently agrees, knowing she is doing it for Kader's sake rather than for the money.

At home, Zeynep's mother is worried about her daughter moving into the house of a man she barely knows. She asks Zeynep to reconsider, fearing for her safety.

Zeynep reassures her that there is nothing to worry about. She says Serhat doesn't seem like a dangerous man and promises that she will take care of herself.

Her father is also uncomfortable with the decision. He asks why she feels she has to do this.

Zeynep explains that there is no one else who can protect Kader. She cannot bear the thought of the little girl living alone in the house of strangers without someone she can trust.

Her father then asks how long she plans to stay at the mansion.

"I don't know," Zeynep replies. "Maybe less than a month. I'll leave as soon as Serhat finds Kader's father."

Before leaving, Zeynep asks both of her parents not to tell Tülay where she is going. She wants it to remain their secret until they discover the truth about Kader's father.

Later, at the mansion, Serhat introduces Zeynep to his daughters, explaining that she will be looking after them until their mother recovers.

Zeynep warmly introduces herself and tries to make a good first impression, but the girls respond coldly. They treat her rudely before walking away without another word.

Afterward, Serhat hands Zeynep a non-disclosure agreement (NDA). He explains that she must sign it, agreeing not to reveal anything she learns about his family to anyone.

Zeynep reminds him that she has already given him her word that she would keep everything confidential, but Serhat insists that a promise is not enough and asks her to sign the document anyway. After signing the agreement, Serhat tells Zeynep that her room is upstairs, the first door on the left, before leaving her to settle into the mansion.

Cihan thinks Serhat has made a terrible mistake by bringing Kader into the mansion. He warns his brother that the situation is becoming too complicated.

Serhat explains that he has no other choice. Kader will stay with them only until he finds her biological father. He adds that if the police become involved before then, the entire situation could turn into a much bigger scandal.

Determined to uncover the truth, Serhat continues searching for clues. His investigation leads him to the place where Berrak got her tattoos.

Showing the tattoo artist a photograph of Berrak, Serhat asks if he remembers her. The man immediately recognizes her and recalls that she came in with her own tattoo design. Serhat explains that Berrak was recently involved in a serious accident and tells the artist that she had the tattoo done while she was with another man. He asks if he remembers the man's name or what he looked like.

The tattoo artist thinks for a moment before replying that he does remember Berrak arriving with someone, but unfortunately he can't remember the man's name or any details about him.

Just then, Serhat receives a phone call informing him that his daughters had a fight.

Meanwhile, Sevim calls Cihan and asks him to contact several agencies to find a new babysitter. She insists that the woman Serhat brought into the house is not suitable for the job. Cihan tells his mother that he will look into it.

After picking his daughters up from school, Serhat asks them what happened. Zeynep is present as he tries to get to the bottom of the fight. Serhat asks what the problem is between them.Ilkim immediately says that Hayal hit her first. Hayal doesn't deny it. Instead, she says that Ilkim keeps telling the other children not to be friends with her, leaving her all alone at school. Serhat turns to Hayal and asks if she really hit her sister. Hayal admits that she did. She then innocently says that Zeynep taught her to stand up to bullies. Surprised, Zeynep quickly denies ever telling Hayal to hit anyone.
Hayal then remembers a conversation they had in which Zeynep mentioned standing up to a bully in her own neighborhood.

Zeynep turns to Ilkim and gently asks if she has been bullying her sister. Serhat also asks Ilkim if what Hayal is saying is true.

Ilkim replies that Hayal is a loser and that their mother hates losers. Serhat tells Ilkim that he doesn't care what their mother hated.

Just then, Ilkim notices her mother's scarf sticking out of Kader's pocket. She snatches it away and angrily accuses Kader of stealing it.

Zeynep steps in and defends her. She says Kader probably took the scarf because she liked it or wanted to play with it, not because she intended to steal anything.

Still upset, Ilkim demands that her father throw both Zeynep and Kader out of the house.

Serhat looks at his daughter and firmly tells her that Zeynep and Kader are staying, and that the matter is no longer up for discussion.

After the incident, Zeynep apologizes to Serhat for what Hayal said at school. She explains that if she had realized the problem was a case of sibling rivalry, she would have been much more careful with her words.

Serhat replies that if he had wanted an ordinary nanny, he could have hired someone with a formal education.

Offended, Zeynep asks what made him assume she isn't educated. She then reminds him that Berrak allowed one of their daughters to bully the other in an attempt to make her lose weight. "Is that what you call being educated?" she asks.

Serhat has no response. Instead, he changes the subject and tells Zeynep to keep an eye on Kader.

Zeynep explains that Kader took the red scarf because it reminded her of Berrak. She insists that the little girl never intended to steal it.

The next day, Zeynep helps Hayal get ready for her piano recital. Nervous, Hayal admits that she is afraid she will freeze on stage.

Zeynep gently reassures her, telling her to relax because she has practiced hard and will do wonderfully.

When Hayal walks onto the stage, the audience applauds. Wanting to boost the little girl's confidence, Zeynep lets out a loud whistle and cheers enthusiastically, drawing everyone's attention.

Embarrassed, Serhat quietly tells Zeynep not to make a scene. He adds that bringing Kader to the recital was a mistake. Zeynep explains that Kader only wanted to watch her sister perform. Serhat coldly replies that Kader has no connection to his daughters.

As Hayal begins playing the piano, Serhat notices something that stops him in his tracks. Her piano instructor has the exact same tattoo that Berrak had.

The sight immediately brings back everything he has discovered about Berrak's secret past. Consumed by rage and convinced he has finally found the man he has been searching for, Serhat rushes toward the instructor and brutally attacks him, beating him until others intervene and pull him away.

Sins and Roses Episode 2 (Recap For Ada Masali)

Sins and Roses

Episode 2
Still haunted by Sedef's accusations, Serhat calls her and demands that she take him to the clinic she mentioned. Sedef agrees. When they arrive, Sedef tells the doctor that Serhat knows everything and wants the truth. Serhat firmly asks the doctor to explain what happened six years ago. The doctor refuses, saying that all patient records are confidential and that he cannot disclose any information without the patient's consent. He explains that only Berrak herself can authorize the release of her medical records. Serhat reveals that Berrak is currently in a coma and that the doctors do not know whether she will survive. He pleads with the doctor to tell him the truth, but the doctor remains bound by medical confidentiality.

Frustrated, Serhat warns the doctor that if he refuses to cooperate, he will have no choice but to involve his lawyers down on him. As they leave the clinic, Serhat turns to Sedef and asks the question that has been weighing on his mind: who is the father of Berrak's child?..... Sedef tells him that she honestly doesn't know. She explains that she and Berrak had been estranged for years and that the last time she saw her was when Berrak came to the clinic for a routine checkup. Beyond that, she claims she knows nothing about the child's father. After a brief silence, Sedef asks Serhat if Berrak is going to be alright. Without answering her question, Serhat gets into his car and drives away, lost in thought over everything he has just learned.

In the kitchen, Erkan shows Tülay a news article featuring Berrak attending the grand opening of the hotel with Serhat. Looking at the photo, Tülay sarcastically remarks that Berrak abandoned her "bastard" child with them so she could go off and enjoy her glamorous life.

Not wanting Kader to hear the conversation, Erkan tells Kader to leave the kitchen while they talk.

As Tülay continues reading the article, a sarcastic smile spreads across her face. Erkan comments that Berrak and her wealthy family seem heartless for celebrating at the hotel opening while their child is growing up in a poor neighborhood.

Tülay scoffs at his remark and asks why he feels sorry for Berrak and her family before feeling sorry for Kader, who has been the one forced to suffer all these years.

Determined to take advantage of the situation, Tülay tells Erkan to call a supposed woman immediately and demand for more money otherwise she will create a scandal so big that everyone will learn the truth.

Sitting alone in his car, Serhat is overwhelmed by everything he has learned. As he stares ahead in silence, a memory flashes through his mind.

In the flashback, Serhat asks the doctor whether Berrak gave birth to a girl or a boy. The doctor replies that his wife had a baby boy and that Berrak wanted him to be named Kader.

The memory leaves Serhat shaken. He slowly steps out of his car, struggling to process the revelation and what it could mean for his family.

SIX YEARS EARLIER
Berrak speaks to Serhat on the phone as she is staying with her father. She asks if their daughters have settled into their new school. Serhat replies that they have, but they miss her terribly and keep asking when she will come home.

Berrak tells Serhat that her father is doing much better, but he still suffers attacks during the night, so she needs to stay for another week or two. Serhat suggests canceling the rest of his business meetings, saying the girls can miss school for a short while and that nothing important will happen. Berrak tells him not to cancel anything and asks him to be patient for just two more weeks. As they speak, she lovingly places her hand on her pregnant belly.

Back in the present, Serhat is overcome with emotion as he remembers the conversation and begins to cry.

Elsewhere, Kader searches through the trash and finds a page featuring Serhat and Berrak at the hotel opening. Looking at the photograph, she softly whispers, "Mom."

Just then, Zeynep comes outside to throw away the trash. She notices Kader and asks why she is searching through the garbage. Startled, Kader quickly hides the page behind her back.

Concerned, Zeynep asks if she is looking for food and wonders whether she is being fed at home. Kader quietly replies that her aunt gave her a sandwich earlier. Relieved, Zeynep says that's good, but she still asks why Kader was going through the rubbish. Kader simply says, "No reason," before running away.

Meanwhile, Serhat tells his brother, Cihan, that Berrak must have left behind some clue about the child—a photograph, a phone number, or something else. As he frantically searches through her belongings, Cihan asks what he is looking for.

Unable to keep it to himself any longer, Serhat confesses that Berrak had another child and believes she betrayed him. Cihan stares at him in disbelief, insisting that they are talking about Berrak and that he must have lost his mind. In frustration, Serhat throws Berrak's photographs onto the floor. Cihan then asks who the child's father is, but Serhat admits that he doesn't know and vows to find out.

15 DAYS LATER
Serhat meets with his lawyer, who informs him that the divorce papers have been prepared. Without hesitation, Serhat signs the documents. He then asks whether there has been any progress in identifying the man Berrak had supposedly been seeing. The lawyer hands him an address.

Afterward, Serhat tells Cihan that he discovered Berrak had been sending money to someone every month for the past six years after reviewing her bank records. He admits he doesn't know whether the payments were going to Kader's father, but he intends to uncover the truth.

Elsewhere, Zeynep finds her sister, Ezra, repeatedly trying to call her boyfriend, Okan. Seeing how distressed she is, Zeynep asks what happened.

Through tears, Ezra explains that Okan couldn't qualify for a loan, so he convinced her to apply for one in her own name. She reveals that she borrowed 200,000 lira for him. On top of that, he withdrew 70,000 lira from her credit card and even used her phone to apply for additional bank loans, bringing her total debt to 800,000 lira.

Furious, Zeynep scolds her sister for trusting him so blindly.

As Serhat drives through the neighborhood, Zeynep rides her bicycle carrying a basket full of roses. Distracted by his thoughts, Serhat fails to see her in time and accidentally knocks her off her bike.

Alarmed, he immediately stops the car, gets out, and rushes over to help her. He apologizes repeatedly and offers to take her to the hospital, but Zeynep insists that she is fine. Annoyed, she scolds him for driving so carelessly.

Seeing the roses scattered across the road, Serhat offers to help pick them up. Zeynep refuses, saying she doesn't need his help as he might crush her roses too. As they gather the flowers, their eyes meet for a brief moment before they both look away.

Serhat apologizes once more. Zeynep then asks if he is looking for someone in the neighborhood. He tells her he is trying to find a man named Erkan. She points him in the right direction and reminds him to drive more carefully. Serhat thanks her and tells her to be careful as well before driving off.

Serhat arrives at Erkan's house.Just then, Kader sees him and excitedly runs toward him, calling out, "Dad!"
Caught off guard, Serhat tells Kader that he is not his father. He gets into his car and drives away in haste, leaving Kader standing there confused and heartbroken.

Zeynep notices Kader sitting alone, looking upset. Concerned, she walks over and asks what is wrong.Kader sadly tells her that her father came to see her, but he didn't recognize her. Zeynep is confused, so Kader takes out the paper with Serhat's photograph and shows it to her. Zeynep immediately recognizes him as the man she met that morning after he accidentally knocked her off her bicycle. Surprised, Zeynep asks Kader how she knows that Serhat is her father.

Kader quietly explains that she overheard her Aunt Tülay saying so.

Serhat tells Cihan that he went to the address the lawyer gave him. Cihan urges him not to go back there, warning that if anyone discovers what is happening, it could destroy the family's reputation. Serhat replies that he no longer cares about his reputation. The only thing he worries about is how all of this will affect his daughters if they ever learn the truth.

Trying to calm him down, Cihan asks him to stop pursuing the matter. However, Serhat says too many things no longer make sense. He points out that on the day of the incident, Berrak deliberately sent all the household staff home and that the security cameras had been switched off. To him, it is clear that she was expecting to meet someone in secret.

This fills Serhat with anger. Convinced that another man was involved, he vows to find him and uncover the truth.

Cihan pleads with his brother to think about his daughters first. He reminds Serhat that, regardless of what happened in the past, the girls need their father now more than ever and warns him not to let his search consume him.

Zeynep brings Kader to Serhat's mansion. When Serhat sees them, he is surprised and asks why they have come. Zeynep explains that she brought Kader because the little girl believes he is her father. Serhat immediately denies it.

Kader tells Serhat that she overheard her Uncle Erkan saying he was her father. She then takes out the paper she has been carrying and hands it to him.

Looking at him with hopeful eyes, Kader asks, "Are you my father?"
Heartbroken, Serhat replies, "No."

Trying to understand the situation, Zeynep says she has heard enough and asks where Kader's mother is so she can take the child to her. Serhat reveals that Berrak is in a coma after a serious accident and that the doctors are not sure she will survive.

Kader is devastated by the news. Seeing the little girl's reaction, Zeynep turns to Serhat and scolds him for speaking so bluntly in front of a child.

Serhat tells Zeynep to take Kader back to where she came from and asks her not to tell anyone about what she has seen or heard at the mansion.

Zeynep firmly replies that she did not bring Kader there to spread gossip. She wants answers. She asks why Berrak abandoned her own child instead of raising her.

Serhat admits that he still doesn't know who Kader's father is. Filled with anger, he says that if he ever finds the man responsible, he would strangle him for abandoning both Berrak and the child.

Concerned for Kader's future, Zeynep asks what is going to happen to her now.

Serhat repeats that she should simply take Kader back home.

Before leaving, Zeynep reminds him that, whether he accepts it or not, Kader is still his daughters' half-sibling.

Zeynep discovers bruises on Kader's body and realizes that the little girl has been beaten.

He explains that he simply set a goal, remained focused, and worked tirelessly until he achieved it. He also shares that his family, especially his wife, has always stood by his side. Throughout the interview, his wife remains beside him, listening proudly. Berrak tells Serat that she loves him just as much as she did on the very first day they met. Serat replies that he loves her too and is grateful to have her by his side. Meanwhile, Hayal is practicing the piano. Her instructor stops her and points out that she is making the same mistake again, asking her to start the piece over from the beginning. Elsewhere, Serhat asks one of the servants whether his mother has arrived. The servant replies that his brother and Mrs. Azra went to pick her up. Serhat then heads to the patio, where he finds his mother reading an article in a magazine. She shows him what the magazine said about him and his wife.

As Serhat films his daughters horse riding, Sedef notices him and walks over to introduce herself. She reminds him that she was Berrak's friend from high school and that they had met briefly at his wedding. Serhat admits that he doesn't remember her but politely asks how she has been. Sedef asks if Berrak is there. Serhat replies that his wife had some things to take care of and couldn't make it. Sedef says she will give Berrak a call since they haven't spoken in a long time. As Serhat cheers on his daughters, Sedef asks if the girls are his children. He proudly says they are. She then asks about the little one. Thinking she is referring to his younger daughter, Serhat points her out and explains that she is six years old. Sedef clarifies that she wasn't talking about her. Serhat insists that he and Berrak don't have any other children and suggests she may have mistaken them for another family. Sedef agrees, says goodbye, and walks away. As she leaves, an evil smirk spreads across her face.

Moments later, Sedef calls Berrak and asks if her money is ready. Berrak replies that she has the one million they agreed on. Sedef immediately corrects her, saying the amount is supposed to be two million. Growing frustrated, Berrak tells Sedef to take the one million and keep her mouth shut. Sedef coldly warns her that Serhat is nearby and that she could ruin Berrak's life within a minute if she wanted to. Sedef goes on to say that Berrak doesn't deserve him and that he deserves a wife like her instead. Sedef tells Serhat that he is a good father and a devoted husband, adding that his wife has no right to deceive him. A confused Serhat asks what she is talking about and warns her not to speak badly about Berrak. Sedef then drops a bombshell, claiming that Berrak has another child who is six years old. Serhat removes his sunglasses in disbelief and tells her she must have mistaken Berrak for someone else. Sedef insists she knows exactly what she is talking about. She says she was there when Berrak was taken into the maternity ward and reveals that the doctor who delivered the baby is a close family friend.

Growing angry, Serhat asks if she intends to keep talking nonsense or if he should have her thrown out. Sedef replies that she is doing him the biggest favor of his life. Serhat immediately calls for security. Before the guards arrive, Sedef tells him that six years ago Berrak secretly gave birth at a clinic in Çatalca and says she is even willing to give him the name of the hospital. Serhat firmly repeats that he and Berrak have only two daughters and no other children. Sedef then asks, "So you're not the father of the child she secretly gave birth to?" Furious, Serhat orders security to remove her and instructs them never to allow Sedef onto the property again.

After she leaves, Serhat immediately calls Berrak. He asks if she has a friend named Sedef. Startled, Berrak asks why he is asking. Serhat explains that Sedef came to see him and was saying ridiculous things. Nervously, Berrak asks what Sedef told him. Serhat reveals that Sedef claimed Berrak secretly gave birth to a child six years ago. Berrak is left speechless. He then asks why Sedef would slander her like that, but she cannot bring herself to answer.

Serhat immediately tries calling her back several times, but she refuses to answer. As the customer leaves, Zeynep notices Kader and calls her over. She sees that Kader is selling handmade bracelets and offers to buy one. While looking at the bracelets, Zeynep asks Kader about her mother. Kader quietly replies that she doesn't have a mother and that she lives with her Aunt Tulay, who is at home. Hearing this, Zeynep is upset that such a young girl is out selling bracelets while her aunt stays at home. Noticing that it is getting late, she offers to take Kader home. However, Kader explains that her aunt told her not to return until she had sold all of the bracelets.
