Episode 49
The next morning, Zeynep comes downstairs and greets Serhat. She tells him that she has not seen Kader anywhere and asks if he has seen her. Serhat says he has not. Zeynep thinks Kader may have gone to Hayal’s room. Hayal informs Zeynep that Kader is not with her because she has only just woken up herself. Zeynep becomes worried and goes outside to look for Kader, with Serhat following her. Refika also realizes that Ebru is missing from her room. She finds a note from Ebru saying that she knows her mother will not forgive her, but she cannot stay at home anymore and asks her mother to understand. Refika is left in tears. Ebru is at the house Cihan rented for them. Cihan comes downstairs and asks what happened. Ebru tells him that terrible things have happened with her family. She admits that she has hurt her family badly and that her parents’ house is now closed to her because she cannot go back. Cihan reassures her that once time passes and their anger subsides, they will forgive her. Ebru says her family will never forgive her, especially when her father hears what happened because it will break his heart. She tells Cihan that she has no one else but him and begs him not to leave her alone. Cihan promises that he will never leave her, calling her his love. Ebru notices that her mother is calling but she refuses to answer. Cihan asks whether she really thinks she can escape from her mother by ignoring her. He then tries to cheer her up by telling her that she is beautiful, although her eyebrows are a little bushy because she does not pluck them properly. He says they are not bad, but they catch his attention. Ebru says she will fix them, and Cihan suggests that they try out their new coffee machine. He tells her he will make the coffee and asks her not to move. Meanwhile, Serhat sees a video which shows Kader leaving the house. He immediately tells Zeynep about it, leaving them even more worried about where she could have gone.
Elsewhere, a mysterious woman name Pelin finds Kader and tells her that she has come to take her to her father. She asks Kader if she is ready to go with her, and Kader agrees. As they leave together, Kader asks the woman if her father will recognize her. Pelin assures her that he certainly will because her father has missed her very much. Meanwhile, Serhat tells Mr. Necip that Kader is missing and that she left the house early in the morning. He asks him to gather as many men as possible and have them search around the house and the surrounding area. Serhat calls out Kader’s name repeatedly, but there is no sign of her. Zeynep also searches around and notices a water bottle sitting on a chair. She recognizes it immediately because she bought it for Kader. She tells Serhat that Kader must have been there and that something must have happened to her. Zeynep blames herself for not protecting her. Serhat tells her not to blame herself and not to fall apart because if she does, who will continue looking for Kader? They decide to go to the police station. At home, Refika tells Azra that Ebru has left with Cihan. She begs Azra not to tell Mustafa or Arif because it would become a family disaster. Refika fears that Mustafa will get himself into serious trouble if he finds out, while Arif’s heart may not be able to take the shock. When Arif asks about Ebru, Refika lies to him by saying she is staying at a friend’s house because she insisted on going there so she gave her permission. Mustafa asks which friend, and Refika its Burcu before telling everyone to sit down and have breakfast. At the police station, Zeynep asks Serhat what they should do now that they have notified the police. Serhat tells her that Mr. Necip and his men are already searching around the house and that he will join them. He asks Zeynep to rest, but she refuses, saying she will not rest until Kader is found. Serhat reassures her that they will find her.
Serhat then calls Mr. Necip and learns that there is footage of Kader leaving the residential complex. Serhat asks him to take the footage to the police immediately. Serhat explains the situation to Zeynep and says that Kader must have gotten into a car because only one car passed through the area at the time she left, and its license plate was covered. Zeynep is devastated and believes Kader was kidnapped. She cannot understand why Kader would leave the house at such an hour. She begins to suspect Berrak, thinking that she may have manipulated her into staying at Tülay’s place. Serhat and Zeynep go to Berrak’s house. Pelin gives Kader something to eat. Kader asks why they came there because she thought they were supposed to meet her father. Pelin tells her that they are waiting for her father to call and let them know. Kader asks who her father is, but Pelin says she will find out very soon. Kader asks why her father left her. Pelin says she does not know, but Kader assumes that her father does not love her either, just like her mother. Pelin reassures her that her father does love her and that the circumstances simply were not right until now. Pelin then tells Kader that her own parents did not want her either. Kader asks who raised her and wonders if she also had a sister Zeynep. Pelin says she did not have one and encourages Kader to eat her breakfast. Back at home, Mustafa and Arif leave for work. Refika then asks Azra to call Cihan and find out where he and Ebru are. Azra reminds her that Cihan is no longer her husband but agrees to call him. Ebru makes Cihan a heart-shaped omelette and asks him to taste it. Cihan calls her sweet and says it is the first time someone has made him a heart-shaped omelette. Just as he is about to taste it, Azra calls, but Cihan does not answer. Refika asks Azra to call him again. This time, Cihan answers. Azra asks if Ebru is with him, and Cihan admits that she is. Azra asks him to put Ebru on the phone, and Cihan hands the phone to her. Refika takes the phone and tells Ebru to come home immediately, asking if she does not care about her father. Ebru tells her mother that she is not going back to the house and ends the call. Refika tries calling again, but Ebru asks Cihan not to answer. Azra tries to calm Ebru down. Refika becomes overwhelmed and curses the day Azra came into the lives of her children. She then tries calling Zeynep. Zeynep tells her that Kader is missing. Refika is shocked and asks what is happening to their family, explaining that Ebru has left with Cihan and even left a note asking her mother to forgive her. Zeynep is furious and calls Ebru stupid, saying she is tired of constantly cleaning up after her sister’s messes. Serhat overhears Zeynep saying that Ebru ran away with Cihan. Zeynep and Serhat then confront Berrak and demand to know where Kader is. Berrak mocks them, saying they have lost a little child. Zeynep asks where Kader would go all alone and demands to know what Berrak has done to her. She asks whether Berrak has given Kader to Tülay again. Tülay asks Zeynep not to involve her in their argument because she has not seen Kader. Berrak accuses Zeynep of knowing what she did to make Kader run away and sarcastically asks if she is once again going to be called the bad mother.
Zeynep calls Berrak the worst mother in the world. Berrak admits that Kader has never run away from her. Serhat tells her to stop talking and asks directly whether Kader is there or not. Berrak says Kader is not there and orders Serhat to take his fake wife and leave her house. Zeynep refuses to leave without Kader. Ilkim then tells Zeynep that Kader is not there. Zeynep calls out for Kader, but Berrak reminds her that it is her house and Zeynep cannot go wherever she wants. She orders Zeynep to leave. Zeynep becomes furious and pushes Berrak, causing her to fall to the floor. Ilkim is shocked and asks Zeynep how she can treat her mother that way. She then asks her father to take Zeynep away. Serhat and Zeynep leave. Tülay and Ilkim help Berrak back up. Outside, Zeynep remains convinced that Berrak is lying and believes she has taken Kader somewhere else and kidnapped her. Serhat assures her that Kader is not at Berrak’s house. They decide to go to Tibet because he had previously wanted to take Kader. Refika and Azra arrive at Cihan’s house. The servant opens the door, and Refika immediately goes inside looking for Ebru. The servant tells them that nobody is home. Refika wonders where Cihan could have taken Ebru. Azra remembers the threat Tülay made against her and realizes that she needs to find money quickly. She goes into the house and appears to look for some of her jewellery. Elsewhere, Sevim talks with Hayal and says she hopes Kader will return home safely. Hayal is surprised because Sevim had shown affection towards Kader. Sevim explains that her heart is not made of stone as she simply does not want Serhat to take responsibility for Kader. She asks Hayal to go home and tells her to call if anything happens. When Sevim returns to the house, she sees Refika and asks what she is doing there. She tells Refika that she caught Ebru in Cihan’s bed and threw her out. Refika defends her daughter, saying that Cihan seduced Ebru and that she had tried everything to keep Ebru away from him, but Cihan clung to her like a leech. Sevim fires back that it was Ebru who clung to their family like a tick. Refika asks where Cihan took Ebru. Sevim says that Ebru may be eager to become Cihan’s second wife, but her son would never do such a thing. Refika grabs Sevim by the arm and says that her heart is burning and she does not want to take her anger out on her. She only wants her daughter and asks Sevim where her son is. Sevim tells her that if she finds Cihan, she will tear him apart before leaving.
Azra then comes out of the house. Sevim asks Azra what she is doing here and questions the servant about why she allowed her inside. The servant explains that Azra had come to collect a few things. Sevim remembers that she had sent all of Azra’s belongings away and immediately accuses her of being a thief. She takes Azra’s purse and discovers that she has taken some jewellery. Sevim holds up the jewellery for Refika to see and orders the servant to call the police. Serhat and Zeynep arrive at Tibet’s place. Zeynep immediately calls out for Kader and tries to go inside. Tibet asks what is going on and grabs Zeynep by the arm, but Serhat immediately removes his hand from her. Zeynep goes inside to look for Kader. Tibet insists that Kader is not there. Pelin tells Kader that her father still has not called and asks if she is bored. She takes Kader to look at the view. Zeynep comes back outside and says that Kader is not there. Serhat demands to know where Tibet has hidden her. Tibet says that he remembers how impossible it is to have a civilized conversation with Serhat and thinks Zeynep will understand him better. Zeynep tells him that she is not having a civilized day either and that she will tear him apart if he has done anything to Kader. She demands to know where the girl is.Tibet suggests that Kader may be with Berrak since she is her mother. Serhat tells him that they know someone in a car with a covered license plate took Kader. He accuses Tibet of taking her.
Tibet says he does not need to resort to vandalism or kidnapping to get a child because he prefers legal means. He adds that he and Berrak may soon surprise them with something. Serhat warns Tibet that if he has anything to do with Kader’s disappearance, not even the police will be able to keep him away from him. Serhat and Zeynep leave. Ebru tells Cihan that her mother was devastated and must have a terrible headache. She also believes that her father must have heard about what happened. Cihan reminds her that he bought the house so they could be happy together, but she has turned it into a house of mourning. Ebru asks Cihan to be more understanding because she left her family for him. Just then, Cihan receives a call from his mother and answers. Sevim tells him that once she sends Azra to jail for stealing, she will speak with him. Azra protests that the jewellery belongs to her, but Sevim insists that she is a thief. Sevim then tells Cihan that Azra has been arrested and she is signing her statement. She asks whether he is with that “piece of trash.” Cihan admits that he is with Ebru and asks his mother to send him her location. Cihan tells Ebru that his mother caught Azra stealing at the house and that they are at the police station. Ebru becomes upset and reminds him that this is now their house. Cihan tells her that he has to go to the police station. He also reminds Ebru that she has already seen what happens when Berrak's “ex-wife” button is pushed and asks her not to stir things up with Azra because he does not want another Berrak situation. Ebru says she will go with him because they are a couple now. Meanwhile, Serhat tells Zeynep that he knows she is upset but asks her to eat something. Zeynep says she cannot eat anything right now. Serhat reassures her that they will find Kader. Can arrives because he wants to speak with Serhat. Zeynep says she wants to hear what he has to say as well. Can asks Zeynep to sit down first, but she tells him to just say it. Can then reveals that Mr. Necip has received information from the police. They have found the body of a girl who appears to be around Kader’s age. Zeynep is completely shocked by the news. Before she can process what Can has said, she faints, and Serhat quickly catches her.
Episode 50
Refika tells Mustafa that Azra is at the police station and finally admits that Ebru has run away with Cihan. Mustafa is furious and says that he is going to kill Cihan. Refika begs her son not to lose his mind and explains that she and Azra went to Cihan's house because they thought Ebru might be there. However, Azra took some jewellery from the house, Sevim discovered it and called the police. At the hospital, Serhat reassures Zeynep that the clothes found on the dead girl do not belong to Kader as she is alive. Zeynep wonders if someone changed Kader's clothes because she was carrying the bag she bought for her. Serhat tells her that there is no reason to worry because they are certain the girl is not Kader. Zeynep is relieved and thanks God. Kader then calls Zeynep and tells her that she is in a police car and used the officer's phone to call her. Zeynep is overjoyed that Kader remembered her number. Serhat asks Kader to put the police officer on the phone. Meanwhile, Cihan is asked to sign a statement confirming that the jewellery belongs to Azra. He tells the officer that his wife suffered because of his mother's cruelty and that she could never accept her daughter-in-law. The officer understands the situation and worries that Azra could file a defamation lawsuit against Sevim. Cihan insists that Azra would never do such a thing because she is a good person. A female officer then brings Azra in. Cihan tells her that he explained to the officer that there had been a mistake, and the officer returns the jewellery to Azra. Cihan tells Azra that she should thank him because, if it were up to his mother, she would have been thrown in jail. Azra says she will not give him the jewellery, and Cihan accepts it. She then asks where Ebru is because her mother is devastated. Cihan tells Azra that Ebru is very happy with him. Cihan claims that unlike her Ebru appreciates him and cannot take her eyes off him for even ten minutes. He admits that they came to the police station together. Azra warns him that Ebru will eventually understand what kind of person he is. Cihan reminds Azra that she cannot tell Ebru anything because they have a confidentiality agreement.
Refika and Mustafa arrive at the police station. When Ebru sees them, she tries to run, but Refika stops her and asks her to come home. Ebru says she cannot go back and argues that her brother brought Azra into their lives and loves her, so why should she not be allowed to love Cihan? Refika asks Ebru if she can hear herself and understand what she is saying. Ebru begs her mother to allow her to live her own life, insisting that her and Cihan love each other and are going to get married. Cihan and Azra come out of the station, and Mustafa immediately confronts Cihan, asking how he managed to trick his sister. Cihan accuses Mustafa of assuming that he is forcing Ebru to stay with him and tells him that instead of picking on him, he should take care of the needs of the woman he eloped with so she does not have to steal. Mustafa is furious and asks what the hell Cihan is talking about before punching him. Cihan punches Mustafa back, but an officer quickly separates them. Cihan leaves with Ebru. Refika begs Ebru not to go, asking whether she does not care about her and reminding her to think about her father. Mustafa also tells Ebru not to go, calling Cihan a sadist and telling her to ask Azra what he did to her. Despite their warnings, Ebru leaves with Cihan. Refika breaks down in tears as she watches her daughter leave. When Kader finally sees Zeynep, she runs into her arms and hugs her. Kader admits that she thought everyone would be happier without her. Zeynep tells her that she is her joy and happiness and begs her never to leave her again. Kader explains that a woman who knew her father took her because she said she was going to take her to him. However, the woman's call apparently revealed that Kader's father said it was not time yet. Kader says the woman never revealed her name.
Meanwhile, Sedef tells Can that Ömer quit on Zeynep's birthday. Can is surprised because he had no idea and says he will call Ömer to find out what happened. He thanks Sedef before calling him. Ömer apologizes to Can for not telling him that he had quit. He admits that the job simply was not for him and that he did not like it. Can asks him to come back so they can find something else for him at the hotel, but Ömer refuses. He says he will not work at the hotel anymore and promises to pay Can back somehow. Elsewhere, Arif calls Ebru, but she is not ready to speak with him. She is arguing with her mother, but she feels differently about her father. Cihan asks her to turn off her phone, and Ebru does so. She then asks Cihan what he did to Azra. Cihan claims that he did nothing and explains that Azra is not divorcing him—he is divorcing her because he loves her. They embrace. Cihan then accuses Azra of tricking Mustafa as well, saying she poisoned him with lies because she is very good at deceiving people. Ebru leaves to collect their order. Serhat tells Zeynep that there is still no trace of the car that took Kader. Zeynep then receives a call from Refika and tells her that Kader is home and safe. Refika tells Zeynep that she saw Ebru at the police station. She explains that her and Azra had gone to Cihan's house looking for Ebru, but Azra tried to take some of her belongings and Sevim reported her to the police for stealing. Refika says that Ebru followed Cihan to the police station and refused to come home when she asked her. She also tells Zeynep that she lied to Arif and told him that Ebru was spending the night with Zeynep.
Refika begs Zeynep to find Ebru and bring her home before Arif discovers the truth. She says that she understands Ebru and Cihan may be able to marry once Cihan divorces Azra, but she does not want things to happen this way. Zeynep says she does not want to lie to her father. Refika asks if she wants to give Arif a heart attack, but Zeynep insists that she cannot lie to him. Refika begs her to do it just once for her sake before ending the call because Arif is calling. Arif asks Refika if there is a problem with Ebru because she has not come home. Refika insists there is no problem and says Ebru and Zeynep simply wanted to spend some time together as sisters. Arif remains suspicious and asks if there was an argument between Refika and Ebru. Refika denies it and tells him that she spoke to Zeynep and that they are preparing dinner. Arif says he will call Zeynep himself, but Refika convinces him to leave them alone so they can talk things through. Cihan tells Ebru that he has to leave. Ebru is disappointed and asks if he is really going to leave her alone on their first night together. Cihan says yes because she knows he has an angry and upset mother at home and needs to go and appease her. Ebru asks when all of this will end. Cihan reassures her that it will be soon, saying they only have to endure a little hardship and everything will be wonderful afterward. He gives her his card and tells her to buy some things for herself the next day because she deserves them. After Cihan leaves, Ebru sits alone and sadly eats her dinner. She remembers the time she spent with her family and begins to cry. Meanwhile, Azra prepares to give Tülay the jewellery as payment. Before handing it over, she asks Tülay for her phone. Once she gets it, Azra deletes the messages between them. She then tells Tülay that she is done with her, that these are the last things she will ever take from her and that she never wants her to come near her again. Tülay agrees but says she is curious about one thing. She asks Azra whether leaving a palace-like house to live in this poor house like a refugee was really worth it. Azra tells Tülay that she still does not understand as she gained her freedom, and that is enough for her, before walking away.
Mustafa later asks Azra why Cihan forgave her and whether she made another deal with him. Azra assures him that she did not. She explains that, as Cihan said, he had promised not to turn her over to the police, which is why she was released. Mustafa accepts the explanation. Azra then tells him that she is starting a new job at a café the next day. Mustafa is happy for her but tells her to grit her teeth until they pay off their debt, promising that he will take care of the rest and that she does not have to work. Azra tells him that from now on, she will never put her life in anyone else's hands again. Serhat asks Cihan if he is absolutely certain that Tibet is Kader's father. Cihan remains silent at first, but then tells him that he is certain because he had a DNA test done and even put the results on his desk. He says that if it were not true, he would never have admitted it. Cihan also points out that Tibet himself admitted that he is Kader's father.
Serhat tells Cihan that a woman took Kader in a car, saying that she was taking her to her father, and then dropped her near the police station. Serhat thinks that if Cihan knows Tibet is Kader's father, he may also know who the mysterious woman is. Cihan says he does not know any woman and believes Tibet is playing mind games with him because Tibet blames him for his son's death. Serhat tells Cihan that he is going to play such a game with Tibet that his entire world will be turned upside down. Cihan warns Serhat not to get involved with Tibet. Pelin and Can meet at the bar. Zeynep goes to her parents' house, where Refika opens the door. Arif immediately asks where Ebru is. Zeynep tells him that Ebru is not with her, while Refika silently asks her not to say anything. Zeynep eventually tells her father the truth. She explains that Ebru left a note for her mum and that she went with Cihan and has moved into the house he rented. Refika tells Arif that she begged Ebru to come back, but she refused to listen. Mustafa admits that he found out that morning. Arif is devastated to learn that his daughter has gone to the house of a married man. He asks when Ebru became involved with Cihan. Refika explains that it started when Ebru began working at the hotel. When she discovered the relationship, she was furious and even pulled Ebru's hair, but Ebru insisted that it was over. Zeynep asks her father to sit down and says she will get his medicine. Arif then asks whether Zeynep knew about it too. Zeynep admits that she had her suspicions. Arif is heartbroken that everyone knew something was happening and no one told him. He tells them, “Shame on you,” before leaving.
Zeynep takes the medicine to her father. Arif takes it but asks her to leave him alone because he does not want to see any of them. Zeynep leaves the room and tells the others that her father does not want to see any of them. Meanwhile, Sevim tells Cihan that if it were up to her, she would never have allowed Azra to leave the police station. Cihan tells his mother that holding a grudge does not suit her. Sevim reminds him that they are talking about a thief who cheated on him and ran away. Cihan says Azra needed money and asks his mother to forget about it because he has already forgiven her and she should do the same. Sevim then demands to know whether Cihan spent the entire day with that immoral woman, Ebru. She wants the truth. Cihan admits that after the disgrace Sevim caused, Ebru had to leave her parents' home. Sevim says that Ebru deserves what happened. She warns Cihan that if he ever brings Ebru home and tells her that he is with her, she will create a huge scene. Cihan then calls Berrak and asks whether she called Nejat. Berrak says that news spreads quickly. Cihan sarcastically congratulates her, saying she pulled the pin on the bomb and now they will see whose hands it explodes in.Berrak says she does not care. She reminds him that she warned him she would not be the only one to go down and tells both Cihan and Tibet to watch their steps because they have pushed her too far. The next day we see Pelin leaving Can's room. Can wakes up thinking about what happened. Serhat introduces Zeynep to Ms. Didem, their new assistant. He asks Zeynep to explain how things work now that she is the lady of the house. Zeynep calls her mother to ask how Arif is doing. Refika tells her that Arif sat in front of the window all night without saying a word, although he is physically fine. She admits that Ebru has ruined the whole family. Zeynep says she will call her later and ends the conversation. She then tells Serhat how worried she was about her father and how devastated he was when he finally heard the truth the previous night. Serhat says that sometimes the truth is the only weapon capable of healing the wound it has opened. Hayal and Kader then arrive, saying they are hungry. Zeynep tells them that breakfast is ready and introduces them to Ms. Didem. Ilkim tells Berrak that a woman took Kader, saying that she would take her to her father. Berrak responds that she does not care. Ilkim is shocked and asks how she can say that when Kader is also her child. Berrak tells Ilkim that motherhood is not simply about carrying a baby in your womb and giving birth; unfortunately, it also requires effort. Tülay remarks that it sounds strange hearing such words from Berrak. Berrak looks at Tülay and quickly makes an excuse, saying that she needs to check the laundry. Later, Sevim arrives at Serhat's house. Ms. Didem opens the door for her. Sevim greets everyone and tells Kader that she looks well, praising God that she is safe. Zeynep tells Sevim that Hayal said she was very worried about Kader. Sevim asks why Zeynep is surprised, saying she is not a monster. Zeynep assures her that she never said that. Sevim explains that she does not want anything bad to happen even to a child she does not know. Serhat asks his mother to sit down, but Sevim refuses because she has come to speak with him about Cihan and Ebru. Zeynep asks Kader and Hayal to get ready for school. Once they leave, Zeynep asks Sevim not to discuss such matters in front of the children. Sevim says she is going through difficult things that are too complicated to discuss in front of children. Now that they are gone, she makes her position clear: if Ebru has any hope of marrying Cihan, she should forget about it because Sevim will never accept her as her daughter-in-law, especially after the disgrace that happened the previous day. Zeynep reminds Sevim that Ebru is not the only person responsible for the disgrace because Cihan is guilty too. Serhat tells Zeynep that Ebru is her sister, but she is not innocent either. Zeynep says she is not defending Ebru, but they should not talk about Cihan as if he were deceived or trapped. He is a grown man, and whatever happened between them is the fault of both of them. Serhat finally says that he does not want Ebru or Cihan disturbing the peace of their home anymore. He declares that the subject is over and will not be discussed again. Serhat leaves, while Sevim also departs, leaving Zeynep sitting alone at the table.
Episode 51
Ebru calls Zeynep who is is furious as she has the nerve to call her. Ebru asks if their father has found out about everything. Zeynep asks Ebru whether she even cares about their father because, if she did, she would not have done something so stupid. She tells Ebru that she has ruined all of them before ending the call. Ebru becomes convinced that their father has found out and calls Azra, asking her to meet. She tells Azra not to bring her or Mustafa with her. Azra explains that she cannot leave because she is working as a waitress at a café and asks Ebru to come there instead. Ebru asks her to send the location. Meanwhile, Sedef tells Serhat that the demo video and photographs for the hotel's promotion have arrived and asks if he wants to watch them. Serhat says he has work to do first and will watch them once he has taken care of everything. Serhat tells Can that he wishes he knew the name of the woman who took Kader. Can suspects that Tibet is behind it, but Serhat says he did not take her. Despite this, Serhat still believes Tibet may have something to do with Kader's disappearance. A staff member arrives with Pelin and reminds Serhat that he had mentioned needing someone for the accounting team. He introduces Pelin as their new colleague. Can immediately recognizes her as the woman he was with the previous night. The staff member praises Pelin's impeccable résumé and tells Serhat that, if he approves, she will be very useful to the company. Serhat says that if everything is fine with him, then it is fine with him as well. He congratulates Pelin, who is then introduced to Can. They shake hands while trying not to reveal that they already know each other. Serhat notices that Can and Pelin seem uncomfortable and asks his older brother what happened. Can says nothing and asks what could possibly have happened.
Meanwhile, Hayal tells Ilkim that Kader asked her whether she was happy that she left. Hayal explains that Kader was deeply affected by what Ilkim said. Ilkim apologizes and says she never wanted things to turn out that way. Hayal tells Ilkim that she knows Ilkim did not say it on purpose, but Kader is very young and sensitive, so Ilkim needs to be more careful with her words. Zeynep also apologizes to Ilkim for pushing Berrak the previous day admitting that she could not control herself. She also tells Ilkim that she doesnt want her to apologize as she reacted normally as a daughter would, as if she were in her position, she would have done the same thing. Pelin later thanks Can for not revealing that they met before. She says that when she saw him, she was embarrassed to the core. Can admits that he was surprised too and did not know what to say. Pelin asks if they can simply act as though the previous night never happened or if she should leave before starting work. Can tells her there is no need to leave because he does not want to interfere with her work. Pelin thanks him and leaves. Serhat then approaches Can and asks if he knows the new accountant because they both froze when she walked into the room. Can finally admits that he and Pelin met at a bar the previous night. He asks Serhat to keep it a secret because Pelin was already embarrassed and he promised her. Serhat assures Can that his secret is safe with him.
Elsewhere, Cihan calls Azra and warns her that if she tells Ebru or anyone else about what happened during their marriage, he will withdraw the divorce petition. Azra says she already knows and asks him to stop repeating it. She also tells him not to call her “darling.” Cihan tells her that she will always be his darling forever before ending the call. Ebru arrives at the café and asks Azra if Cihan did something to her, as Mustafa called him a sadist. Azra says Mustafa probably thought that because of something she said while she was angry. Ebru asks Azra one last time what Cihan did, but Azra remains silent. Ebru then asks how their father is. Azra says Arif was very sad and angry that everyone had kept the truth from him. She tells Ebru that if she still had her father, she would not trade him for the whole world. She warns Ebru not to take her father for granted or she will regret it. Ebru insists that she is not trading her father for anyone and believes he will eventually forgive her. Azra tells her that she does not appreciate her family, but Ebru says she did not come to listen to advice and asks Azra to stop meddling in her life and asks her to bring the menu because she is now the customer and her the waitress. Cihan asks Tibet if he knows that Berrak called Nejat. Tibet remains silent. Cihan tells him to give up on marrying Berrak and says that if he wants to annoy Serhat, he should find another way. Tibet says he will find another way. Cihan warns him not to mess with Serhat because it will be the end of him. Berrak sees Arif on the road and asks if he is okay. Arif tells her that she was the only one who had told him the truth, because she had warned him that his daughters would hurt him more than she ever could. He admits that Ebru and Cihan are together. Berrak tries to calm him down, but Arif suddenly suffers a heart attack. Berrak immediately tries to help him, and she and Tülay take him to the hospital. Back at the café, Ebru continues looking through the menu. Azra asks if she has made up her mind. Ebru says she is still looking and reminds Azra that they have done this before. As that time Azra was the customer and she was the waitress who served her. Azra says she understands and accuses Ebru of being there for revenge. Azra offers to send another waiter, but Ebru insists that she wants her. Azra asks what Ebru wants from her. Ebru tells her that Cihan is hers now. Azra warns her that if she really knew Cihan, she would understand that being with him is not a victory and that he will eventually become her downfall.bEbru remembers the time Azra humiliated her and deliberately recreates the same scenario from beginning to end. Afterward, Ebru says she has thought about it and decides that the café is too low-quality for her before walking away.
Meanwhile, Kader leaves her classroom and shows Zeynep the princess sticker her teacher gave her. Kader puts another sticker on Zeynep and tells her that she is a princess now. Zeynep smiles and tells Kader that it is nice because she is now a princess. Berrak calls Zeynep and informs her that Arif has become sick and is in the hospital. Zeynep is shocked and asks what happened to her father. Berrak hands the phone to Tülay, who confirms that she is telling the truth. Zeynep says she is on her way and asks them to send her the location. She takes Kader and goes there by taxi.Tülay later informs Ebru that her father is in the hospital. At the hotel, Pelin tells Serhat that she wants to ask him something about the accounts. Serhat tells her that the accountants handle the accounts and suggests that she speak to Mr. Ali. Pelin explains that she was reviewing previous accounting periods to get up to speed but noticed that something seemed wrong with the accounts. Serhat says it must be a mistake because Ali is good at his job. Pelin says she is not sure and will speak with Mr. Ali the following day. Sedef then comes in and tells Serhat that she has never seen the accountant come into his office so often. She asks whether Pelin is trying her luck with him, but Serhat says no and asks her not to worry about such things because Zeynep will handle them. At the hospital, Tülay tells Zeynep that the doctor is examining Arif. Zeynep asks Kader to sit down and then confronts Berrak, asking what she did to her father to make him sick. Berrak says she did nothing and that Arif became sick because of Ebru. Tülay confirms that Berrak was the one who helped Arif and brought him to the hospital.
Refika and Mustafa arrive. Zeynep tells her mother that the doctor is still with Arif because she has only just arrived. Refika looks at Berrak and says that all of this is her fault. Tülay informs Refika that Berrak was the one who brought Arif to the hospital. The doctor eventually comes out and informs them that Arif suffered a heart spasm. He says Arif is fine and got off lightly, but he needs to be much more careful from now on. Ebru arrives at the hospital carrying gifts and asks Zeynep if their father is okay. Zeynep tells her not to call her “sister” and blames her for giving their father a heart attack. The nurse tells them they can see Arif but warns them not to tire him. Kader goes in to see Arif and wishes him a quick recovery. She gives him a drawing. Ebru also tries to see her father, but Arif refuses to see her. He tells her to get out. Ebru begs him not to do this, but Arif continues insisting that she leave.bBerrak and Tülay see Ebru coming out. Berrak takes the opportunity to provoke her, saying that Zeynep moved into a man's house she barely knew, secretly got married, and yet her family forgave her.bEbru tells Berrak to get out before she takes her anger out on her. Berrak tells her to go ahead, saying it will not change the fact that no matter what Zeynep does, her family always forgives her, while she gets disowned for her first mistake. Berrak's words deeply hurt Ebru. Berrak and Tülay leave.
Ebru later talks to Cihan about how their family forgave Mustafa and Zeynep for their mistakes, yet she has been disowned for making one mistake. Cihan tells her to get used to it, saying that they are both the black sheep their families want to get rid of. Cihan then criticizes the way Ebru is drinking her tea, telling her that she is drinking it disgustingly and that every slurp is slowly making him grow cold toward her. Ebru apologizes and promises it will not happen again. Cihan says he hopes so because he is very sensitive to those sounds and, if she continues, he will not eat or drink anything with her anymore. Ebru points out that he has been criticizing everything she does lately. Cihan asks what he is supposed to do—keep it to himself while slowly growing cold toward her? Ebru immediately says she does not want that. Cihan calls her a wonderful being with a few minor flaws and says they will work on them because he wants her to be perfect. Meanwhile, Berrak receives a call from Pelin, who introduces herself as Mr. Nejat's spokesperson. Pelin says she will wait for Berrak in front of her house because they cannot talk inside while her daughter is there. Pelin arrives and asks Berrak to get into the car, assuring her that it will not take long. Tülay and Erkan see Berrak leaving and wonder where she is going.
Inside the car, Berrak tells Pelin that Tibet is forcing her to marry him and asks her to help get Tibet off her back. Pelin says Tibet lost his son and has the right to seek revenge. Berrak asks if she is supposed to sacrifice her entire life simply because Tibet wants revenge and whether Mr. Nejat will allow that. Pelin explains that Mr. Nejat is very clear about the situation. He will not get involved in Berrak's personal problems because he has bigger plans. She warns Berrak not to provoke Tibet any further because he may resort to harsher methods. Berrak asks if Mr. Nejat is basically telling her to marry Tibet. Pelin tells her that everyone has to make certain sacrifices.bBerrak orders the driver to stop the car. Pelin warns her not to push things too far because it will not end well. Berrak gets out of the car and walks away. Meanwhile, Serhat takes Zeynep to the hotel restaurant because she is craving something sweet. Zeynep enjoys the dessert and says it is so delicious that it makes her forget all her troubles. Serhat wants to try some, but Zeynep refuses to share. Serhat is surprised and says he did not know she was someone who did not like sharing. Zeynep tells him that now he knows because she does not share the things she loves with anyone. The next day, Serhat calls Ilkim and tells her that Snowball, the horse she loves so much, has given birth. Ilkim is happy, and Serhat asks if they should go and see the foal. Ilkim initially refuses, saying she does not want to go. Serhat understands that she is only acting tough and tells her that if she wants, they can go to the club. She can turn her face cold and speak coldly to him if she wants, but they will still be together. Ilkim agrees, saying she will only see the foal and then return. Serhat tells Hayal and Kader about their plan. Kader becomes excited about seeing real horses, and Serhat tells her to go and change. Meanwhile, Zeynep brings tea to Arif. He tells her that everything is his fault because he raised Ebru the wrong way. Zeynep tells her father that it is not his fault. She reminds him that he raised them by teaching them the value of goodness, truth and hard work. Arif asks why Ebru did what she did if that is how he raised her. Zeynep tells him not to worry because Ebru will eventually realize her mistakes. Arif sadly says that Ebru will realize it when it is too late. Serhat then calls Zeynep and tells her that Hayal and Kader are with him and that they are coming to pick her up. He also says Ilkim will be joining them because they are going to the club. Zeynep says she will not come because she thinks it is better for them to stay at the hospital. Serhat tells her that the girls want her to come. Arif tells Zeynep to go and not stay there because he is not sick and will simply rest. Serhat tells Zeynep that he will be there in five minutes.

Mustafa’s exhaustion begins to worry Refika. She pleads with her son to give up his extra job before he collapses from exhaustion. Mustafa explains that he barely sleeps for two hours because he has no other choice. He borrowed heavily from friends and now works night shifts to pay off his debts. Refika warns him not to give any of the money he is struggling to earn to Azra, reminding him of the trouble she has already brought upon their family. Meanwhile, Zeynep prepares to leave the house, saying she is going to see a foal. Refika questions how quickly she seems to have forgiven their father, but Zeynep leaves anyway. Outside, Berak escorts Ilkim to the car where Serhat, Zeynep, Kader and Hayal are waiting. Zeynep thanks Berak for helping with her father, Arif, but Berak makes it clear that she did not do it for Zeynep. She then tries to provoke Zeynep and Serhat by questioning their marriage. Since they supposedly got married because of Kader, Berak asks whether the family situation they have created is really ideal for the children. Serhat refuses to entertain her comments and simply drives away. Elsewhere, Ebru spends time with Tülay at Cihan’s apartment. Their conversation turns to Cihan and Ebru’s future together. Tülay encourages Ebru, reassuring her that once she marries Cihan, her family may eventually soften toward her and forgive her.
At the hotel, Pelin secretly speaks to someone on the phone. She confirms that she has gained access to the company’s system and is preparing to transfer company money to the ship captain’s account. However, when she notices Sedef approaching, Pelin quickly changes the tone of the conversation and makes it sound as though she is discussing payments for electrical and renovation work at her new home. Can approaches Pelin and extends his hand to her, but Pelin responds flirtatiously and asks him to call her by her first name instead of addressing her professionally. After Pelin moves away, Sedef bluntly asks Can whether he is flirting with her. Can asks why Sedef always has to be so direct. Sedef tells him that she does not trust Pelin and has a strong feeling that the woman does not have good intentions. Can dismisses her suspicions and tells her not to bother him with them. Meanwhile, as Serhat drives with Zeynep, Kader, Hayal and Ilkim, Ilkim tries to lighten the mood by bringing up the funny incident when their mother fell into a swimming pool. Hayal immediately shuts down the conversation, saying it is not a nice thing to talk about. As the sisters begin arguing, Kader tells them that she does not like seeing them fight. At the same time, Berak hears a knock at her door. When she opens it, Tibet is standing there. Tibet shows Berak his phone, revealing that he is tracking Serhat and the children as they travel on the road. Berak immediately panics and begs him not to do anything to them. Tibet reminds her of the deal she has refused to honor. He proposed marriage to her and demanded that she take half of Serhat’s hotel shares and sign them over to him. Since Berak has refused to marry him, Tibet intends to make her pay. Berak desperately reminds him that her children are inside Serhat’s car, but Tibet already knows. He tells her that she is going to lose her children and experience the same devastating pain he felt when he lost his son, Aksel.
Back on the road, a vehicle overtakes Serhat and stops farther ahead, blocking their path. Another vehicle then appears and armed men surround Serhat’s car. The children panic, while Zeynep and Serhat are also frightened. Serhat, however, forces himself to remain calm and tells Zeynep that parents cannot afford to panic in front of their children when they are in danger. Believing that the attackers are after him rather than his family, Serhat tells Zeynep that as soon as he steps out, she must get into the driver’s seat and take the children away. Serhat gets out of the car and tries to reason with the armed men, telling them that whatever problem they have is with him and not his family. Zeynep quickly moves from the passenger seat into the driver’s seat, reverses the car and escapes with Kader, Hayal and Ilkim. She drives until she reaches a flower shop run by an elderly woman. Zeynep hurriedly explains the situation and begs the woman to keep the girls safe. Ilkim, Hayal and Kader begin crying and beg Zeynep not to leave them, but she reassures them that she will return because she has to go back and save their father. Leaving the girls with the flower seller, Zeynep drives straight back towards the armed men.
Meanwhile, Serhat remains surrounded at gunpoint. When he notices one of the attackers checking his phone, Serhat asks whether he is waiting for instructions from his boss. He begins shouting at the men and calls whoever sent them a coward, saying that if their boss has a problem with him, he should come and face him instead of hiding behind armed men. Tibet watches everything through the live feed from Berak’s house. He tells Berak that Zeynep has managed to save her children, but now she is going to lose Serhat. A terrified Berak finally gives in and tells Tibet that she will marry him and do whatever he wants if he spares Serhat. Tibet refuses to believe her. He tells Berak that if she could betray Serhat after everything Serhat has done for her, then he has no reason to believe that she will not betray him too. Back at the ambush site, Zeynep suddenly comes speeding towards the armed men. Serhat sees her approaching, and the distraction gives him the opportunity to grab one of the attackers’ guns. Zeynep drives towards the bushes and stops, while the situation quickly turns into a dangerous standoff. Serhat holds a gun to one attacker’s head, while another man points a weapon at the back of Serhat’s head. Another attacker points his gun at Zeynep, and Serhat tells her not to get out of the car.
Suddenly, two more vehicles arrive. Masked armed men jump out, but they are clearly not part of the original group that attacked Serhat. They surround everyone with their weapons drawn. Their leader eventually steps out carrying a phone and whispers something into the ear of the leader of the first gang. The original attackers immediately retreat. The new leader then approaches Serhat and tells him that his boss wants to speak with him before handing him the phone. The moment Serhat hears the voice on the other end, he freezes. Although years have passed since he last heard it, Serhat says he could recognize the voice anywhere. It is his father. Shocked, Serhat asks whether his father is now involved in this kind of shady business too. He demands to know why the man would suddenly intervene to save him and asks why, if he knows who Serhat’s real enemy is, he does not simply reveal the person’s identity so that Serhat can defend himself. However, the call ends without Serhat getting the answers he wants. Once the danger is over, Serhat turns to Zeynep and questions why she recklessly came back after he specifically told her to escape with the children. Seeing how terrified and traumatized she is, his tone softens. He pulls Zeynep into his arms and reassures her that everything is over and she should calm down.
Back at Berak’s house, Tibet mocks her tears, calling them crocodile tears. He warns her that if she breaks their agreement, the next tears she sheds will be real ones over the bodies of her ex-husband Serhat and her daughters. If Berak does not want that to happen, she must keep her promise. Tibet demands her ID card so that he can arrange a date for their wedding. Berak goes to her handbag, retrieves the card and hands it to him. Outside the house, Tibet immediately calls his men and angrily demands to know who ordered them to retreat. They tell him that the order came from Mr. Nezat’s boss. Tibet is surprised and questions when Mr. Nezat’s boss began personally interfering in matters like this. Just then, Tülay arrives and sarcastically greets Tibet. He turns to look at her before walking away, leaving Tülay wondering about his reaction. As Serhat and Zeynep drive back to the children, Zeynep asks who the attackers were and what they wanted from him. Serhat admits that he has no idea and is just as confused as she is. She then asks who the second group were and who Serhat was speaking to on the phone. Serhat tells her that it was his father. Zeynep is stunned because she thought Serhat had neither seen nor heard from his father since he abandoned them. Serhat confirms this and says that the last time he heard his father’s voice was the very day the man left the family.
Meanwhile, Berak frantically searches for her phone. When Tülay arrives, Berak uses her phone to call Ilkim. The terrified girls tell Berak that armed men attacked them and that they fear the men are going to kill their father. While they are crying on the phone, they suddenly look up and see Serhat approaching. Their panic immediately turns to excitement and relief as they tell Berak that their father is alive and coming towards them. They end the call, and Berak sinks onto the couch in relief. Before reaching the children, Serhat tells Zeynep that nobody must know about his father’s phone call. When they arrive at the flower shop, Serhat embraces his daughters while Zeynep pulls Kader close. Serhat promises Kader that he will not leave them again. After they thank the elderly woman for protecting the children, she looks at Serhat, Zeynep and the girls together and tells them that they make a very good family. They share an emotional embrace before leaving.
At Cihan’s apartment, Ebru shows off her outfit and Cihan tells her that she looks good. Ebru says she is hungry, and Cihan suggests ordering food to be delivered. Ebru complains that since she arrived at the house, all she has been doing is eating ordered food indoors. She asks Cihan directly whether the real reason is that he does not want to be seen with her in public. Cihan boldly admits that it is. Ebru is taken aback that he can say it so plainly to her face. Cihan explains that his divorce from Azra has not yet been finalized and that if Azra sees him publicly with Ebru, she could use their relationship against him in court and potentially drag the divorce proceedings out for years. Ebru tells him that she knows a quiet restaurant she used to frequent when she was a student where they can eat discreetly without attracting attention. Cihan eventually agrees but warns that they cannot stay long.
Serhat, Zeynep and the girls later stop outside Berak’s house to drop off Ilkim. Still shaken by what happened, Ilkim tells Berak about the terrifying experience. Berak immediately puts on a concerned, motherly display, pulling Ilkim and Hayal close, hugging them and expressing how frightened she was and how thankful she is that they returned safely. The girls explain that much of the credit belongs to Zeynep because she reacted quickly, got them away from the danger and then went back to save their father. While Berak showers Ilkim and Hayal with affection, Kader stands nearby. Kader quietly tells Berak that she was scared too and calls her “Mom,” but Berak does not respond or offer her any comfort. Seeing this, Zeynep immediately pulls Kader into her arms and reassures her that she is safe.
Back at the hotel, Pelin is having lunch when Can asks whether he can join her. She agrees, and Can remarks that the restaurant’s meals are better than the work sandwich she is eating. Pelin says she is enjoying it. Can asks how her audit of the company accounts is progressing and whether she has uncovered any fraudulent activity. Pelin claims that she has not found anything significant. She then begins questioning Can about information she discovered while going through company documents, particularly another side of the company’s operations. Can explains that this was Serhat’s own decision and venture. Pelin subtly questions why everything seems to be left to Serhat when she thought it was a family business. Can corrects her, explaining that their father left them nothing and Serhat built everything he owns himself, which is why neither Can nor Cihan automatically has a stake in the company. Pelin then becomes curious about Cihan and asks what happened to him and why he is currently unavailable. Can notices her excessive curiosity and questions it. Pelin quickly backs down and apologizes for being too forward, claiming that she did not mean to touch on something she should not have.
Serhat arrives outside the hotel with Zeynep and Hayal. He tells them that he only needs to collect a document and calls Can, asking him to meet him in his office. Once inside, Serhat opens his safe using the combination and retrieves his gun, concealing it behind his back beneath his jacket just as Can arrives. Serhat tells Can that armed men ambushed him and makes it clear that he has no intention of taking the attack lightly. He tells Can that there is more they need to discuss later, but not at the hotel. Serhat’s security chief then enters. Serhat orders him to increase security around his home and Berak’s house. He also wants a complete investigation into his estranged father, including where he is, what he does, whom he associates with and every possible detail about his current life. After the security chief leaves, Can asks why Serhat is suddenly so interested in their father. Serhat tells him that their father saved his life that day, leaving Can speechless. As Serhat leaves the hotel, Hayal approaches him and he wraps an arm around her shoulder. A gust of wind blows Serhat’s jacket aside, exposing the gun tucked behind his back. Zeynep sees it and immediately asks what is going on, but Serhat shuts down her questions and tells her to get into the car.
Meanwhile, Ebru and Cihan arrive at the quiet restaurant Ebru suggested, but it is the restaurant where Azra works. When Azra sees them, she tries to walk away, but her boss instructs her to attend to their table and take their order. Ebru immediately takes advantage of the situation, making a point of telling Azra that she and her boyfriend are there together before asking for some water. Azra remains professional and asks Cihan what he would like. Cihan begins mocking Azra for returning to her former job as a waitress. He sarcastically congratulates her and says he hopes they pay her well. Azra ignores his attempt to humiliate her and simply asks if she can take their order. Cihan then reveals something Ebru knows nothing about. He tells her that Azra needs the money because there is an enormous debt to Tibet. Mustafa borrowed millions from Tibet to pay for the operation of Azra’s mother, and the loan carries a high percentage. Ebru is stunned and asks Cihan what he is talking about. When she realizes what Mustafa has done, she confronts Azra and accuses her of pushing her brother into such a huge debt. Azra insists that she did not know Mustafa had borrowed the money and promises that she intends to repay every penny herself. She explains that this is one of the reasons she is working.
Ebru asks how Azra possibly expects to repay millions while working as a waitress. Azra begs her not to tell Refika and Arif because they do not know about the debt, especially now that Arif is only just recovering after being hospitalized. Ebru tells her to shut up, saying that if she truly cared about their family, she would never have allowed Mustafa to get into such a situation. She demands that Azra repay every single penny her brother owes, and Azra promises that she will. Azra then moves to get their order, but Ebru says she has completely lost her appetite and tells Cihan that they are leaving. Cihan tells Azra that it is a pity they did not get to eat because the restaurant actually seems like a nice place. Before leaving, he pulls out some money and leaves a tip on the table for Azra, looking at her with pity. Ebru is already waiting angrily near the exit.
Serhat then calls Cihan and tells him to come home immediately. When Cihan asks what happened, Serhat tells him that it is not something they can discuss over the phone. After the call, Ebru remains furious and ashamed over the debt Mustafa has gotten himself into. Cihan tells her that he has to leave because Serhat’s call sounded serious. Ebru is upset that he is leaving her during their outing. With Azra still able to see them, Ebru deliberately kisses Cihan as a display in front of her. Cihan understands exactly what she is doing and, after the kiss, tells Ebru that she is a cruel person before taking her outside to get a taxi.
Back at Serhat’s house, Zeynep raises the issue of the attack and the gun Serhat is carrying. Serhat explains that finding the attackers is the responsibility of his private investigator and security team, while protecting his family is his own responsibility. Zeynep reminds him that the gun is supposed to remain locked inside the safe in his office and tells him that she does not want him carrying it around the children. She then suggests that perhaps Serhat’s father is not as bad as they thought since he saved his life. Serhat strongly disagrees. He believes his father is actually worse because he does not believe the man intervened out of the goodness of his heart. His father must have his own interest in whatever is happening, and Serhat intends to discover exactly what that interest is. Serhat then asks Zeynep whether she really would have run the gunmen over if they had not retreated. Zeynep says yes because she would never allow anyone to hurt the people she loves. Serhat immediately asks whether he is one of the people she loves. Caught off guard and unwilling to reveal her feelings, Zeynep quickly tells him that she only returned because if something happened to him, the children would suffer terribly. She says that was her reason for risking herself and tells him not to imagine anything more. Serhat’s expression changes because he had clearly hoped for a different answer, while Zeynep sits down and tries to hide her emotions.
Sevim enters and joins them. Serhat tells his mother that there is something he wants to ask her. He asks whether she has had any contact with his father since the day he abandoned them. Sevim immediately questions why Serhat is suddenly thinking about his father after all these years. Serhat insists that he simply wants an answer. Sevim says that she has never seen or heard from the man since he left, that she does not care what happens to him and that he can go to hell. Feeling that this is a private family conversation, Zeynep tries to excuse herself, but Sevim stops her and says that she actually came there to speak with Zeynep. In the neighborhood, Tülay finds Refika sweeping outside her house and asks how Arif is recovering. Refika immediately questions why she wants to know. Tülay explains that Ebru is worried about her father. When Refika assumes Ebru called her, Tülay admits that she actually visited Ebru and saw the beautiful house Cihan rented for her. Refika bitterly remarks that Cihan apparently spares no expense on his lovers and tells Tülay to stop annoying her. Tülay challenges her for speaking that way about her own daughter. She insists that Ebru’s current situation is only temporary because once Cihan’s divorce from Azra is finalized, he will marry Ebru and everything will eventually settle down. Tülay argues that Cihan has already sacrificed his family for Ebru, and if he does not marry her, where will he find someone better? She adds that women like Ebru are difficult to find. Her words soften Refika slightly, although Refika still tries to distance herself from the conversation.
Back at Serhat’s house, Zeynep tells Sevim that she should try smiling more because whenever she sees her, she always looks so serious. Zeynep assumes Sevim has returned to repeat her warning that Kader will never receive any inheritance from Serhat. Sevim says no, explaining that she does not like repeating herself and has already made her position on that subject clear. This time, she has come as president of the charity foundation. Serhat is the foundation’s biggest sponsor, and an important event is taking place the following day to raise money for scholarships for schoolgirls. As Serhat Tecer’s wife, Zeynep is expected to attend. Zeynep immediately says that it is a bad idea because she does not attend gatherings for wealthy people and does not believe she has the social skills required for that world. Sevim tells her that it is time she got used to it. She reminds Zeynep that she took the Tecer surname and that being Serhat Tecer’s wife comes with responsibilities. Zeynep argues that when she attended the previous children’s event, she did so as a member of the school staff, not to show herself off as Serhat’s wife. Sevim refuses to debate the matter and tells her that as long as she is Mrs. Serhat Tecer, she must rise to the occasion.
Serhat, who has been sitting with them throughout the conversation, quietly gets up and attempts to leave. Zeynep immediately runs after him and protests that he cannot simply leave her alone with his mother. Serhat says that he would only get in the way of their conversation and that he does not like becoming involved in such matters. Zeynep reminds him that she nearly ran over a gang of armed men for him, yet he cannot even stay and support her against his mother. Sevim immediately asks what the two of them are talking about. Realizing that she has said too much, Zeynep quickly claims that it was only a metaphor and again asks Serhat to wait, but he leaves anyway. When the maid asks whether Sevim would like coffee, Serhat is already in the kitchen preparing coffee for himself. He tells the maid that he can manage without assistance. While standing there, he looks through the window and notices Cihan arriving. Meanwhile, Sevim continues explaining to Zeynep that the charity event is far more meaningful than she thinks. It is not simply a gathering for wealthy people because the money raised is used to provide scholarships for young girls.
Serhat steps outside to meet Cihan. Cihan asks what happened, but Serhat gets straight to the point and asks who Cihan works for. Cihan becomes frustrated, tired of Serhat constantly confronting him, but Serhat reveals that he has just been ambushed by armed men who were prepared to kill him. Cihan is stunned and asks how something like that could have happened. Serhat demands information about the foreign men Cihan has been involved with. Cihan confirms that the people he dealt with are from abroad, but Serhat does not believe they were behind the attack. He explains that those men are interested in money, want control of the hotel and may try to drag them into dirty business deals, but their motivation is financial and not revenge. Serhat then considers Tibet as another possibility because Tibet blames him for the death of his son, Aksel, and has a personal reason to want revenge. However, Serhat cannot understand why Tibet would wait so long before making such a direct attempt on his life. Cihan admits that he has no idea and asks Serhat how he managed to escape from armed men who intended to kill him. Serhat finally reveals that their father saved him. Cihan is stunned and asks what their father could possibly have to do with any of this, but Serhat remains silent.
Episode 53:
🔸️ At dinner, Zeynep suggests that they watch a movie together and offers to make some popcorn. Kader admits that she does not want to watch a movie with guns, so Zeynep reassures her that they will watch something happy. Serhat agrees to the movie night. Hayal suddenly becomes startled when she notices someone outside, but Serhat assures her that it is only Can arriving and reminds her that security guards are stationed outside in the garden to keep them safe. Can is warmly welcomed into the house, and Serhat asks him to join him in the study. Meanwhile, Tülay sits with Erkan at the dinner table but is distracted by what has happened. When Erkan asks what is troubling her, Tülay reveals that Berrak seems to know that something bad has happened to her daughter before she even speaks to Ilkim on the phone. Erkan believes Berrak is simply experiencing a mother's intuition, but Tülay is not convinced. She suspects that Tibet may have something to do with what happened. Tülay declares that if her suspicions are correct, she will no longer settle for small amounts of money and intends to demand one major payment once and for all. She then goes to call Ebru. Ebru asks Tülay if she knows what has been happening with her family. Tülay explains that Refika has avoided saying too much because she does not want to put more stress on Arif's fragile heart. She then tells Ebru that Zeynep and Serhat are shot at in broad daylight. Ebru is horrified, but Tülay quickly reassures her that nothing happens to them and that they survive the attack.
🔸️ Later, Ilkim asks Berrak if she can sleep beside her that night. Berrak agrees, promising that they will sleep together until Ilkim feels safe. Berrak then changes the subject and asks Ilkim what she would think if she gets married again, just as her dad marries Zeynep. Ilkim reminds her mother that her dad's marriage to Zeynep is only a formality and is not a genuine marriage. Berrak tells her that she could also get married for a formality. Ilkim warns her that if she remarries, she will go to boarding school and never return. Berrak admits that when she divorces Serhat, she is too proud to demand anything from him and believes he takes advantage of that. She says she later realizes that she has been foolish, not for herself but because she wants to protect their father's fortune from Zeynep and Kader. Ilkim tells her mum that Zeynep is not interested in money. Berrak responds that this is what Zeynep says, but everyone loves money. However, Berrak reveals that she intends to file another property division lawsuit against Serhat and wants Ilkim as a witness. She wants Ilkim to testify that Zeynep moves into Serhat's house while Berrak is in a coma and that Zeynep and her dad become intimate. Ilkim refuses to take sides between her mother and father.
🔸️ Meanwhile, Serhat tells his brothers about the shocking discovery that he hears their father on the phone. The biggest surprise comes when Cihan admits that he has secretly remained in contact with their father and even watches football matches with him once a month. Cihan insists that he hates their father just as much as Serhat does. Can tells Cihan not to compare himself to them, accusing him of being a traitor and reminding him that Serhat almost dies that day because he turns the hotel into a den of illegal activities. Cihan fires back that he is the man who throws himself in front of the bullets to save Serhat. Serhat tells them both to stop arguing, saying this is not the time to fight because their father is coming back into their lives. He then gives Cihan permission to return to the hotel, but makes it clear that this is his final chance. Can reminds Serhat that Cihan betrays him, but Serhat says that, for the sake of the unhappy childhood they share, he will give his brother one last opportunity.
🔸️ Ebru later calls Zeynep and asks if she is okay after everything that happens, explaining that Tülay tells her about the attack. Instead of appreciating her concern, Zeynep responds coldly and asks whether Ebru has fallen so low that she is now pretending to care. Ebru insists that she calls because she genuinely cares about the family, but Zeynep reminds her of the enormous pain she has caused them. She tells Ebru not to worry about the family anymore and ends the call. Cihan thanks Serhat for allowing him to return and promises that he will not disappoint him again. Can wonders why Serhat forgives Cihan. Serhat tells him that he intends to observe Cihan and discover who he is doing business with. Later on, Azra gives Mustafa money she receives as an advance and tells him to use it to repay his debt to Tibet. Mustafa admits that the money is not enough to clear everything he owes, but he hopes Tibet will give him another month to pay the remaining balance. Azra asks Refika not to let go of Ebru even if Cihan wants to marry her. Refika admits to Azra that Ebru is already attached to Cihan pointing out if it will be a problem if they got married.
🔸️ Meanwhile, Sedef learns from Can that Sevim plans to introduce Zeynep to society, so she immediately tells Berrak about it. Berrak asks Tülay for Ebru's phone number and calls her to share the news. She tells Ebru that Zeynep will be introduced to society and suggests that Azra will probably be there just to provoke her. Ebru refuses to be manipulated, telling Berrak that she will not be her puppet. Berrak then points out that when she and Serhat divorce, everyone knows about it, yet nobody knows about Azra and Cihan's situation. She tells Ebru that Cihan is keeping her like a dirty secret. Ebru ends the call and tells herself that she will not remain Cihan's secret and that soon everyone will find out who he truly belongs to.
🔸️ Mustafa's attempt to resolve his debt also ends badly. He meets Tibet and hands him half of the first installment, promising to bring the remaining half the following month. Tibet refuses to accept the arrangement. He reminds Mustafa that their agreement requires the entire amount to be paid on time, pushes the money back toward him and demands that Mustafa return with the complete payment the following day. When Mustafa asks how he is supposed to find such a large amount of money at such short notice, Tibet coldly tells him that he should have considered that before signing the contract. Mustafa is left facing an even more serious financial crisis.
🔸️ Arif returns home early and tells Refika that he encounters their landlord while trying to apologize for the delayed rent, only to discover that the rent has already been paid in full. Arif demands to know where Refika gets the money. She initially claims that it comes from her savings, but Arif does not believe her and accuses her of hiding things from him again. Refika eventually admits that after Ebru is fired, she receives severance money, which they use to pay the rent. Nonetheless, Arif becomes furious when he realizes that the money is connected to Ebru and Cihan. He declares that he refuses to live on that man's money. His anger becomes so intense that it begins affecting his health, forcing Refika to plead with him to calm down. Arif nevertheless declares that he never wants to hear Ebru's name again or accept another cent from her before storming outside.
🔸️ Later, Zeynep, Serhat, Sevim and Kader arrive at the hotel. Serhat asks Sedef if she can watch Kader for a few hours, but Sedef hesitates and admits that she has never been particularly comfortable looking after children. Serhat reminds her that when Berrak is in a coma, she tells him that she will take care of Hayal and Ilkim. Zeynep immediately tells Sedef not to worry, saying that she would never entrust her with such a responsibility. Then, Can offers to take care of Kader instead. When he sees Pelin, he tells her that he wants to introduce her to a sweet girl. However, when Pelin realizes that the girl is Kader, she quickly says that she has to reply to an urgent message and leaves.
