Resumo de Cacau
A série centra-se em sequestros intensos, profundos segredos de família e romance em plantações de cacau, com a segunda parte esperada para resolver os cliffhangers envolvendo personagens como Cacau, Tiago e tramas vilãs.
A temporada anterior terminou com Tiago a pedir conselhos à mãe, Júlia, e essencialmente a decidir afastar-se ou partir para dar espaço a si próprio — e a Cacau —, sem saber que estava a deixar o próprio filho para trás.
Sal, que se reconciliou com Cacau naquele último jantar, torna-se a pessoa que poderá realmente ajudar a aproximar Cacau e Tiago, uma vez que já não tem qualquer lealdade para com a mãe, Simone.
A morte de Justino (que ocorre pouco depois daquele jantar) desencadeia uma guerra judicial.
Numa grande revelação, a personagem Baobá finalmente quebra o longo voto de silêncio que mantinha, fornecendo um testemunho chave que impacta os restantes personagens.
