New Series Alert: Undercover Love Coming Soon To Zee One

Zee One, a general entertainment channel operated by Zee Entertainment Enterprises that serves as a spin-off to Zee One has announced the addition of a new series, Undercover Love. It will make its freemium debut on Zee One later in the year.

Synopsis for Undercover Love 

Undercover Love follows the dual life of its protagonist, a woman who appears timid and submissive at home but is a high-ranking undercover intelligence officer.

To her family and the public, Jagaddhatri (often called "JD" or "JAS") is a demure woman who runs an NGO for hearing and speech-impaired children. In secret, she is a fierce Special Crime Branch investigator who solves high-stakes criminal cases.

Jagaddhatri lives in a household where she is frequently mistreated, ignored, and verbally abused by her stepmother and other relatives. She endures these taunts silently to maintain her cover.

Her primary personal motivation is to uncover the truth behind her deceased mother's mysterious past and prove her innocence.

She is supported by her partner, Swayambhu (or Shivaay in remakes), an IPS officer who is her childhood friend and often the only person who knows her secret. Their relationship evolves from crime-fighting partners to a romantic couple, eventually leading to marriage.

The show premiered as Jagaddhatri on Zee TV on 29 August 2022 and concluded on 14 December 2025 after 1200 half hour episodes. It starred starred Ankita Mallick and Soumyadeep Mukherjee in leading roles.
